I worked with Jeannette LaPointe, a photographer, who wanted to do a typographic/photographic collaboration. Our concept was to create a hand lettered word that reflected the feelings one experiences while in the scenario we are representing.

Hudson Valley Goldsmith
I was commissioned to make a holiday window design for the Hudson Valley Goldsmith, located in New Paltz, New York. The business prides themselves on custom hand-made fine jewelry and wanted a window display that gave a warm, welcoming, hand-made vibe.
the Valley Garden
This is a branding package for a hypothetical organic restaurant. the Valley Garden is a Hudson Valley-based restaurant that focuses on all locally produced food and supplies.
Due to the variable nature of the menu items (depending on the season), the menus are reprinted every few months with a slight illustrative alteration to the logo to denote which season is being represented.
Each season, a new mini zine is published to show off the Hudson Valley farms, markets, and local individuals that helped contribute to the current menu.
get shit done sketchbooks
I created a hand lettered note to myself that said "get shit done." I vectorized this marker drawing, sent the file to this amazingly wonderful company called Owosso and ordered a magnesium plate with the design on it. I then foil stamped the design onto leather covers, backed with cardstock, and made saddle-stapled sketchbooks.
During my senior year, I have been working on my thesis project entitled Public Positivity. The purpose of this project is to serve the SUNY New Paltz community by responding to issues I hear from my friends, and while serving as a Resident Assistant. I try to react to each issue I hear of with hand lettered positive messages in the hopes of providing support.
This project takes three forms: chalkboards, take-away cards, and t-shirts.
The first is a series of hand lettered chalkboards throughout campus classrooms. I completed the pieces in the evenings so the students had a positive surprise when they walked into class the next day.
The second part of the the project is a series of prints that I hung around campus (mostly the lecture center and my residence hall). The students could take however many cards they wanted. I had the largest take away event in the lecture center on the last day of classes, which happened to be a very rainy cold day.
The third and final form of the project was a screen printing event. I had students in my residence hall bring me a t-shirt that I silkscreened "create your own legacy" onto.
I'm hoping to give the campus community a small gift of positivity through these messages. I've been using instagram to spread the word of Public Positivity, which has been encouraging others spread the love as well.

Hayden's Bat Mitzvah
I was commissioned to make a logo for Hayden's Bat Mitzvah. I incorporated Hayden's love for soccer, tropical vacations, swimming, sleep away camp, and candy into the design to accurately represent the 13 year old.
Park Lane Piano School
I have been working with Park Lane Piano School to create a clean and sophisticated logo and identity package. This is an ongoing project that will include the logo, business cards, postcard advertisement, academic calendar, and website.
Kitchen Therapy Social Content
I worked to create a series of Facebook cover photos for The Spark Group's client, Kitchen Therapy. They are a New York City-based food delivery service that focuses on delicious plant-based meals that are full of natural energy.
I have been woodburning custom lettering designs into tree cookies as wedding & engagement presents. I have also woodburned coasters for The Spark Group, a digital media agency I interned for in 2015.
